This service includes the supply of on-site staff and equipment to provide integrated services for waste reduction, sorting, recycling, cleaning, sweeping and specialist equipment rental. Services are tailor made to meet specific client requirements and comprehensive feedback and reports enable monitoring of contract performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).

ORICOL offers the following outstanding services under this division.

Waste Sorting

Otherwise known as Total Facilities Management, ORICOL will place labourers as well as necessary supervision on site to manage and minimise the waste streams being generated at a site. This will include sorting waste material, sourcing outlets for recyclables, scheduling collections of waste and recyclables and ensuring that the waste area is kept in a neat condition. Scope of an integrated contract can be expanded to include cleaning services that might involve the supply of ride-on sweepers, forklifts, towmotors & trolleys and operators, amongst others. Sites that are under ORICOL's control are automatically included on the ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 audit program and are checked regularly to ensure standards are upheld.

Sensitive Goods Destruction

Included in total facilities contracts is the destruction of sensitive goods that have the potential to get back into the market if their disposal if not managed correctly. Typical products include, food such as packaged goods nearing sell by date, electronic equipment including pirated CDs or hard drives with sensitive information stored on them as well packaging overruns that can be shredded and then recycled instead of guaranteed disposal at landfill.

ORICOL will bring the necessary equipment to site to destroy the products in question. This operation can be witnessed by representatives of the client who will then have peace of mind that there is no chance of the products re-entering the market and thus issues of brand protection as well as health and safety are dealt with.

Effluent Plant Management

Due to our close relationship with Veolia Water, we are also able to include effluent plant management into an integrated contract. ORICOL will then be responsible for any sludge management requirements due to operation of the plant and also be involved with sludge dewatering where feasible (see Industrial Services). This ensures that there is one point of contact for all effluent and waste issues at the site and management costs are reduced due to combining effluent and waste management under on umbrella.
